Celebrate the season with festive holiday music for choir, brass and organ, from familiar favorites to stunning new settings. Long associated with the music of Christmas, bask in this glorious combination of voices and instruments which hearkens back to the Renaissance and continues to inspire listeners today. Featuring special guests, the Wichita Brass Quintet.

CHORAL CLASSICS – “SONGS FROM THE HEARTLAND”

APRIL 12 AND 13, 2014 (7:30 pm and 3:00 pm)

Enjoy a musical feast of folk songs, hymns, spirituals and popular songs. The music of the people has been a wellspring for composers of art music and popular musicians alike, and an inspiration to singers of all ages. The concert features music by Kansas composers and songs of the heartland of America, including folksong arrangements for choir and piano-four hands. Featuring Wichita gospel singer, baritone Earnest Alexander, and a special chorus of Wichita area Middle School singers.
Cabaret Fundraiser

JUNE 6, 2014 (7:30 pm – Doors open at 6:30 pm)
Broadway and popular tunes are featured as the Chorale showcases its singers in solos, duets, and mixed ensembles for this annual fundraising event. The relaxed atmosphere of beautiful Prairie Pines adds to the fun, and the evening also includes food & drink, a house band, and a silent auction.
Ticket Prices: $15 general, $12 seniors, $5 students; high school students admitted free.
